What is the Library?
The Council maintains a Community Addictions Resource Library on site. The library is part of the Berks County Library System. Books and videos are available for lending. There is also a variety of drug and alcohol pamphlets and educational materials. The library is open Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm.
In order to borrow materials from the library, you must have a Reading Public Library system card. You may reserve any of our materials online. You must pick up reserved items at the Council within five days after the reservation is made. Search the Reading Public Library website for listings and availability of addictions literature and videotapes. You can also reserve an item via e-mail.
