ACT 48 Credits will be available
Participants will be provided a basic scientific overview of teen brain development to explain the ways in which teens speak and reason. Understanding how the non-addicted teen brain functions allows the negative effects that addictive substances have on brain development to become more apparent. This full-day training will discuss how nicotine in tobacco products impedes brain development in teens, as well as how a structured social environment such as school may become compromised.
