Healing the Stigma of Addiction
The consequences of stigmatizing attitudes and behaviors are tangible, painful, and destructive. The mission of “Healing the Stigma of Addiction” is to reduce stigma by raising consciousness, facilitating ongoing dialogue, searching for creative solutions, and educating all within or connected to the Recovering Community.
This course reviews the Code of Ethics and the history of the ethics process; common ethical errors will be discussed; reviews process for filing an ethical complaint.
This course provides the clinician with knowledge regarding the most common infectious and communicable diseases and modes of transmission. Protective measures will also be covered.
