Join us for a pizza lunch and a fascinating presentation that charts 12 defining moments in the growth of Alcoholics Anonymous, which was founded in the 1930s and became one of the most profound spiritual movements of the twentieth century.

Presenter:
Marty Ferrero is a Senior Clinical Director at Caron Treatment Centers. He has been in the field of addiction treatment since 1996 and at Caron since 2010. Prior to joining Caron, Marty served as a licensed alcohol and drug counselor at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation in Minnesota, clinical supervisor at Hazelden Springbrook in Oregon, and clinical director of Vista Taos Renewal Center in New Mexico. Marty has a Master of Arts in Addiction Counseling from the Hazelden Graduate School of Addiction Studies, and a B.A. in Political Science from the UMass/Amherst. He is also a PCB Certified Clinical Supervisor and certified multiple addictions counselor through the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals. Marty is in long term recovery, having recently celebrated twenty six years.
