Addiction is a disease. But it is not just a physical affliction; it is a disease of the spirit and the soul. There are many pathways to recovery. Finding faith is a powerful catalyst towards regaining physical, mental and spiritual health. Faith based programs are able to provide those battling with addictions the tools necessary to restore their physical and emotional health as well as their spiritual well-being.

“Celebrate Recovery is a biblical and balanced program that helps us overcome our hurts, hang-ups, and habits. It is based on the actual words of Jesus rather than psychological theory. Twenty-four years ago, Saddleback Church launched Celebrate Recovery with 43 people. It was designed as a program to help those struggling with hurts, hang-ups and habits by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process. Celebrate Recovery has helped more than 17,000 people at Saddleback.”

Celebrate Recovery is now in over 20,000 churches worldwide. The Reading chapter meets every Tuesday night at 7:00 pm at Reading Dove Christian Ministry.
