Is it possible to experience death related to using man made bath salts? Yes it is!
Often times, bath salts are viewed to be the equivalent to Epsom salts which is not the case. Epsom salts are composed of magnesium and sulfate. The bath salts we are referring to are similar to that of an amphetamine related stimulant, or also referred to as a “synthetic stimulant.” Moreover, it is a manmade product entirely composed of different chemicals. Commonly used chemicals to create bath salts are MDPV, mephedrone, and methylone. Although it is rare, there have been many reported cases of linking death to the intoxication of the chemicals resulting from bath salts. Common symptoms experienced with the use of bath salts include but are not limited to hallucinations, racing heart, paranoia, panic attacks, and rising of a user’s blood pressure.
