Join us for lunch as we learn about the common causes of chronic pain and some of the compassionate alternatives for treatment. Dr. Olugbodi will discuss conditions that cause chronic pain such as spinal stenosis (neck or lower back), disc herniation (sciatica), complex regional pain syndrome and lower back pain following back surgery. Dr. Olugbodi will also review ways to effectively manage a patient’s pain without the use of opioid medications. Some of the procedures that could be used include epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency neurotomy, spinal cord stimulation therapy and other options that can be personalized to each patient’s condition.
This Lunch and Learn will be held at the Reading Central Branch YMCA in the 2nd floor meeting room. 631 Washington Street Reading PA 19601. You can enter through the main doors on Washington street and the receptionist will direct you to the meeting room. Parking will be validated at the Poplar and Walnut Street Garage which is located next door to the YMCA.

Dr. Olugbodi is a fellowship-trained Interventional Pain Medicine Physician, Neurologist and Internist. He is a member of many professional bodies including the Spine Intervention Society, American College of Physicians and the American Academy of Neurology.
