Join us for a Town Hall on February 26, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Southwest Middle School, 300 Chestnut St, Reading, PA. Hear presentation from a panel of experts who will offer tools to help make parenting easier. Learn about having a good relationship with your teen and setting clear rules about underage drinking. Get informed about vaping and medical marijuana. Panel will include representatives of:
- Council on Chemical Abuse
- Berks Counseling Center
- Caron Foundation/SAP
- Community Prevention Partnership/PAT
Time will be included for panelists to answer questions from the audience. There will be door prizes and a light meal will be served.
This is the first of four Town Halls being held by the Northeast Community Springboard Coalition in the four middle schools of the Reading School District. The focus of all town halls will be on providing current drug information to parents, especially vaping/JUULing, marijuana and underage drinking. The panelists will answer audience questions and help attendees gain communication tools to help set healthy boundaries and expectations.
