TRAINING: Communication – What Did You Say?

Good communication skills are just not good enough! This interactive workshop offers information that will improve your ability to communicate effectively by ensuring that the message received is the message you intended to send. Barriers to effective communication will also be considered. This workshop will even challenge your listening skills! Whether with our words, body language, use of space, or modes of dress and facial expressions we communicate volumes.

This training is directed to human service professionals including caseworkers, case managers, and counselors.  However, any professional who desires to involve their communication styles- training is appropriate for staff from social service agencies including aging, community nursing, rehabilitation facilities, mental health, drug and alcohol, and clergy are welcome to attend.

6 CAC and/or 6 Social Work credits will be offered for this training.
