Training Description

Are you aware of a family impacted by problem gambling? This often hidden addiction can have severe personal consequences on both the individual and the family. Financial hardship, emotional difficulties, domestic violence, employment difficulties and legal problems are the consequences of untreated gambling disorders. This training explores problem gambling from a family perspective including the personal and financial safety issues for family members. Effective treatment strategies for the individual and the family will be examined including the role of the professional and family in supporting recovery.
