This course provides clinicians with current knowledge regarding the most common infectious and communicable diseases and modes of transmission. Protective measures will also be covered. Four CAC credits will be offered for the workshop. This is a DDAP required training for drug and alcohol counselors. However, this training would be appropriate for any professional who works with clients with substance abuse and/or mental health concerns, staff from social service agencies, adult, and juvenile probation, domestic relations and public assistance.
This training is sponsored by the Council on Chemical Abuse and the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs. Four CAC credits will be offered for attending this training.
