**PLEASE NOTE: The start time for this training has been changed to 9:30 a.m. to ensure that all participants can be present for the beginning of the training.

This training examines addiction issues specific to women including the initiation use, physiological differences, childhood trauma and PTSD, co-dependence treatment barriers and treatment for women in the criminal justice system.   This training is directed to human service professionals including caseworkers, case managers, and counselors.   Any professional who works with clients with substance abuse and/or mental health concerns- training is appropriate for staff from social service agencies including aging, community nursing, rehabilitation facilities, mental health, drug and alcohol, and clergy.

Six CAC credits will be offered.  Six Social Work credits will also be offered for an additional $10 fee.
